Cooper Zeitz Engineers for GSA Region 10
In planning for several projects that may affect the utilities system throughout the Auburn complex, the GSA needed detailed information for all utilities on the site. This information was critical in preparing a comprehensive maintenance plan, and for properly planning and executing future construction projects and utility improvements. White Shield provided topographic survey services to support this comprehensive study that thoroughly documented the type, location, and condition of all utilities within the GSA Auburn complex. These services included ground truthing all accessible utilities (water, sewer, storm, fire, telephone, electrical, and gas), and categorizing the condition of storm and sewer structures. Incorporation of the ground truthing findings was provided in CADD files showing “found” and “absent” elements on layers for each utility.
